GRIEF THERAPY
Grief is as individual as your fingerprint. There is no right or wrong way to grieve. There is no timetable for grief. When you find yourself in a place of grief and loss it is important to have a safe space to talk with someone who can walk alongside you in your pain. Whether you have suffered the sudden loss of a loved one, lost someone to a prolonged illness, or you are reeling from a divorce or processing past losses, know this, you are not alone.
I specialize in grief counseling because I know grief and loss. Agonizing pain, confusion, hopelessness, sleepless nights, and days that stretch on as you grieve are all part of the process of experiencing loss. I understand the value of having someone listen and not talk you out of your grief or tell you how to grieve but sit with you and offer a space for your grief.
I have over twenty years of experience working with grief and the grieving. I know that finding the right counselor is critical when you are in a place of pain and loss. I know first-hand the feeling of isolation and confusion that exists in the wake of loss. I have had the honor of working with people in their deepest hours of pain. If you are in that space right now, know that you will find peace again and develop a way of living with your loss while cherishing your memories.
You don’t have to face this journey alone. If you are reading this and wondering if grief counseling will help please contact me today. You will find a space of empathy without judgment and in time, insights on how to move forward. We take it hour by hour, day by day as you process your pain.
“ We are never finished with grief. It is part of the fabric of living. It is always waiting to happen. Love makes memories and life precious; the grief that comes to us is proportionate to that love and is inescapable.”
